Using Nettrekker they are to look for the information, F9 key shortcut to be able to work on the Net and AppleWorks 6. 5. Using the information they collected they are to create 2 Trading Cards. (2 days) 6. Use Comic life to create their trading cards/index cards can be used here in place of program, AppleWorks 6 make your own templete that students can use.

Keynote Presentation: Students learn the basics of making a presentation with iWorks '08 as they create a three-slide presentation about themselves. Estimated time is one to two 45-minutes class periods. Their objectives is to create a new presentation, add text, format text, move and resize a text frame, change alignment, save, add slides, add clip art, move and resize clip art, and view a presentation.

3) As always, your sentences must be grammatically correct.

4) If you are done with the research then work on a second one for extra credit.

Thanksgiving Holiday

November 24-28, 2008 

Create a book of poems using Thanksgiving Words. 1. Open up AppleWorks 6, word processing. 2. Write a Thanksgiving Word and create a poem. 3. Change the Title size, First Letter (font, size and color) 4. Type their poem 5. Save in the jump drive 6. Print out their poem. 7. At the end of the week make a book out of the poems.

The student understnads how conflict between the American colonies and Great Britain led to American Independence. The Student is expected to A). identify the contributions of significant individuals during the revolutionary period, including Betsy Ross, Paul Revere, Benedict Arnold, and Crispus Attucks.
